Elizabeth McDonald is a write, speaker and licensed financial professional. She developed A Woman of Means originally as a Twitter handle with a hope to develop the concept into a blog and website meant to help people achieve their goals – financial and personal.
After completing her master’s degree in acting from Ohio University, Elizabeth wrote, produced and directed for a corporate team building troupe that used original, live performance to entertain and train. A national contract brought her to Los Angeles, where the market changed and she chose to learn what the corporate world was about. During her early years in Los Angeles she maintained a leadership position and became a priest with Ar n’Draiocht Fein, also known as A Druid Fellowship (www.adf.org) under the name ‘Meredith’ McDonald, which was her legal stage name. She also very much enjoyed reading tarot professionally during this time as well.
While life lessons took her away from the path of spiritual (ie: ritual leading and ministry) leadership, Elizabeth has always believed that a blend of the arcane and mundane are a necessity to living a full life. This conviction is what now informs her practice as a financial educator and what drives her to teach with www.authenticyouacademy.com.
A Woman of Means is a person with the appropriate tools to achieve whatever she may wish. The tools may be innate, or they may rest within the reach of a simple search. Having ‘means’ can manifest in many ways, not the least of which being ‘financially’. It is Elizabeth’s conviction to teach others to work with the spiritual, natural aspect of affluence in order to, one day, mitigate the disparity of wealth in the world. www.AWomanOfMeans.com
